What it is for, who it suits
In the boot of a rental SUV or pick-up, everything gets mixed up after two days on gravel: water bottles, groceries, laundry bag, jack and tow strap. A compartment box keeps the essentials sorted and reachable without emptying the boot at every stop.
This one measures 58 × 35 × 30 cm open, with inner dividers, mesh side pockets for small items and handles to lift it out in one go at the campsite or hotel. The supplier states a waterproof fabric; the product images show hook-and-loop strips under the base that grip the boot carpet. When you return the car, it folds to 35 × 30 × 3 cm and goes back in the suitcase.
Limits: it is a soft organiser, not a rigid crate; it does not protect against impact and does not lock. On a bare metal pick-up bed the hook-and-loop base will not grip: strap it down.
