The house
Who writes these pages — and how
A publishing house, not a sponsored blog
Partir en Liberté is an independent digital publishing house, published by Clem Corp. We write and sell guides for independent travel — the kind of trip where you hold the wheel, pitch the rooftop tent and decide where the day ends.
Our speciality was born on Namibian gravel: it is the country we know best, the subject of our first guide and of our most detailed pages. The rest of the catalogue applies the same method, country by country, with a depth we state honestly: Namibia remains our reference ground, the other destinations are rigorous, cross-checked and maintained editorial digests.
Where our figures come from
A budget that hides its assumptions is worthless. Our price ranges (4x4 rental, fuel, park fees, accommodation) are built by cross-checking the public rate cards of rental companies and parks, listed accommodation prices and our readers' feedback. When a figure swings with the season or the exchange rate, we give a range and say so — never a falsely precise price.
Every article shows its publication and last-update dates. When a rule changes (rental insurance, park hours, closed tracks), we correct the page rather than pile up a new one.
Our model: you are the customer, not the advertiser
We live exclusively from selling our guides and kits. No press trips, no sponsored posts, no affiliate commissions from rental companies or lodges: when we advise against an expensive option, nobody pays us to say otherwise.
That is also why our free pages are genuinely useful without buying anything: they give the full panorama. The paid guides add the ordered method, the checklists and the day-by-day detail.
Spotted a mistake? Tell us
A price that moved, a closed track, a changed park rule: write to us and we fix it. It is the best service we can render the travellers who will read the page after you.
