What it is for, who it suits
On a self-drive trip you change lodging almost every night. Without organisers, the suitcase gets turned over at every stop to find a clean T-shirt, and dirty laundry ends up mixed with the rest. One bag per category means taking out only what you need for the night and closing up again.
This set has eight pieces: three zipped cubes of 40 × 30 × 12, 30 × 28 × 12 and 30 × 20 × 12 cm for clothes, a 36 × 27 cm drawstring laundry bag, a 36 × 21 cm shoe bag that keeps dusty soles apart, an underwear pouch, a flat 27 × 12 cm pouch and a 26 × 15 × 9 cm toiletry bag with a clear window. The supplier states a water- and dust-resistant fabric. Empty, the bags fold flat.
Limits: the cubes organise clothes, they do not compress them. Seams and zips are not waterproof. The bags carry a printed decorative slogan ("Wish u have a colorful life").

Do they save space?
A little, by packing tighter, but mostly time: each category has its bag. They are not compression bags.
Do they fit a soft duffel?
Yes, the cubes are soft and suit a duffel as well as a hard suitcase.
