What it is for, who it suits
In a rental car, the gap between the seat and the console swallows everything: the key, sunglasses, a parking ticket, the phone just when you need to pay a toll. On a long driving day, keeping these things in one place saves rummaging while driving.
This organiser slides upright into the gap and fills it. It has a large flat pocket for a phone or papers, a cup holder for a bottle or coffee, and a side eyelet to route a charging cable. It is black faux leather, easy to wipe when gravel dust comes in through the windows. The driver version has the cup holder on one side, the passenger version on the other: choose by seat.
Limits: the supplier does not give exact dimensions; in cars where the seat almost touches the console it may not fit. It comes out in seconds when you return the car; remember to empty it.

Which version should I choose?
The driver version goes next to the driver's seat (on the left in a left-hand-drive car), the passenger version on the other side. In countries that drive on the left, swap them.
Does it fit every car?
Most, but if there is almost no space between the seat and the console it will not slide in.
