What it is for, who it suits
Between towns, supermarkets can be several hundred kilometres apart in Namibia, Botswana or Australia: you shop for two or three days. A cooler bag keeps drinks and fresh food cool on the road and goes over the shoulder to the picnic table.
This one is thick Oxford fabric with an insulated lining, closed by a top zip. The zipped front pocket takes cutlery, a can opener or keys, the mesh side pockets a bottle. Handles and an adjustable shoulder strap let you carry it either way. Empty, it folds and takes little room in the suitcase. The supplier states a capacity of up to 20 L.
Limits: it is not a fridge. Without ice packs (not included) it slows warming but does not cool. In the African summer, keep it in the air-conditioned cabin rather than the boot, and in the shade when parked.

No. Ice packs, or water bottles frozen the night before, extend the cooling time a lot.
Does it replace the fridge of an equipped 4x4?
No: it is an extra for shopping and picnics, not a fridge.
