What it is for, who it suits
On a self-drive trip the car is the only power socket of the day: the phone that serves as GPS, the camera, a power bank, an e-reader. With one cigarette-lighter socket and four devices, you need a charger that shares without cables piling up at the passenger's feet.
This one has two built-in 80 cm retractable USB-C cables: pull the length you need, they rewind after use. There is also a USB-A port and a USB-C port for your own cables, so four devices at once. It supports PD, QC 3.0, AFC and FCP fast-charging protocols, works on 12 V and 24 V sockets, and shows the vehicle battery voltage: useful to watch a battery that weakens after several cold starts or a night with a fridge plugged in. It is protected against short circuit, over-voltage and overheating.
Limits: both built-in cables are USB-C; for a Lightning iPhone, plug your own cable into the USB-A port. In some cars the socket only works with the ignition on. The 120 W total output is the supplier's figure.
