What it is for, who it suits
When the light stays on. In a rooftop tent dawn comes early through the canvas; on planes the cabin stays lit; in Iceland or Norway in summer it never gets truly dark. Several bad nights mean tiredness at the wheel.
What it changes. Total dark with no pressure on the eyes: the hollow cups let you blink.
How it is made. 69 cm foam strap, two hollow cups about 9 × 7.5 cm (4.5 cm deep) that move along the strap on hook-and-loop to match your eye spacing. Dark grey. 90 g packed.
Before you order. Thick cups are less comfy for side sleepers. Hand wash. It does not block noise: see our earplugs.
