What it is for, who it suits
A long-haul self-drive trip often starts with ten to twelve hours of night flight, then a day of driving as soon as you pick up the car. Sleeping better on the plane means arriving less tired at the wheel. The pillow then serves the passenger on long transfer days.
It is memory foam, which moulds to the neck instead of pushing back like an inflatable pillow. Its wrap-around shape supports the head at the sides and front, where it drops when you fall asleep sitting up. A hook-and-loop strap adjusts the fit around the neck. It measures about 32 × 26 cm, 9 to 14 cm thick. The cover comes off and washes; a drawstring pouch is included for travel, where it rolls up.
Limits: even rolled, it is bulkier than an inflatable pillow; clip the pouch to the outside of your cabin bag. The foam itself is not washable, only the cover.
