What it is for, who it suits
A mokoro trip in the Okavango Delta, a boat to an island, a tropical downpour in Costa Rica, or just the fine gravel dust that gets everywhere in the car: a dry bag keeps what must not suffer dry and clean, passport, phone, power bank, a fleece.
It closes with a top you roll over three times before clipping the buckle: that fold is what keeps water out. It holds 10 litres, measures 19 × 55 cm flat and has a shoulder strap, leaving your hands free to climb into a boat. Empty, it rolls up in a corner of the travel bag. It is printed with a blue camouflage pattern, the words "Waterproof bag" and the capacity.
Limits: it protects from splashes, rain and a brief dunk, but the supplier gives no submersion rating: do not leave it under water or put a camera in it without extra protection.
