What it is for, who it suits
At the wheel. On some textured or curved rental dashboards no suction cup holds. And when the phone is GPS and camera, taking it in and out of a clamp twenty times a day ends up happening while driving.
What it changes. The phone snaps on one-handed and comes off in one move, no clamp, below the windscreen line.
How it is made. Alloy vent clip, round magnetic head turning 360°, adhesive metal plates for the phone or case. For 4 to 6.1-inch phones per the supplier. 70 g packed.
Before you order. Needs a slatted vent, not round vents. Hot air blowing on the phone can overheat it. On corrugations a heavy phone can slip.
