Who is it for?
- You are driving around Iceland by car or van and want to plan it in one go, without stitching ten sources together.
- You can't choose between 7, 10 and 14 days: the roadbook shows what each length means, day by day.
- You want offline GPS tracks, because the signal drops in the East and the fjords.
- You are only doing the Golden Circle from Reykjavík: its file is enough, and the guide covers the rest of the country if you stay longer.
Figures you can check
Distances and times: OSRM engine on OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Parking fees: official Þingvellir and Kerið websites. Sunrise and sunset: astronomical calculation for Reykjavík. No photo or map generated by AI: maps are drawn from OSM data and the Natural Earth coastline.

Readers' questions
What exactly is in the offer?
Four items in a single download: the “Iceland on your own” guide (10 chapters, in French), the Iceland Budget & Prep Kit (Excel + CSV spreadsheet, checklist, itinerary template, labels in French), the Golden Circle file (8 A4 pages: map, distances, 4 timetables, parking, fuel, daylight, checklist, plus GPX and KML files) and the Ring Road roadbook (19 A4 pages in English: 7, 10 and 14 days day by day, plus 3 GPX and 3 KML files). The two exclusive files come in English and French.
Are the two exclusive files sold separately?
No. The Golden Circle map and the Ring Road roadbook are only sold in this offer. The guide (€44) and the kit (€29) are still sold separately, €73 for both, and the Iceland Bundle (guide + kit) stays at €59.
Where do the distances and driving times come from?
They were calculated on 12 October 2026 with the OSRM routing engine on OpenStreetMap road data, staying on Route 1 through the East Fjords and avoiding gravel shortcuts. They are pure driving times at legal speeds; the timetables add a 15% margin. Parking fees come from the official Þingvellir and Kerið websites, checked on the same date.
How do I use the GPX files offline?
Open the .gpx file in an offline navigation app (Organic Maps, OsmAnd, Gaia GPS) after downloading the Iceland map. The .kml imports into Google My Maps and then shows in the Google Maps app. Instructions are in each file.
